Calçotada 2016

Once again the Vaquería celebrated its traditional # calçotada. In two calls due to the great demand that our event raises year after year, the calçots “took” the Vaquería. Two days in which time accompanied us and both the interior of our restaurant and the terrace were full of people. Friends, customers, unconditional of the traditional calçots of Catalonia tasted a variety of chives especially cultivated in our gourmet garden for this purpose. We roast them directly on flames of vine shoots and the tradition says that they are eaten by hand, seasoned with a special sauce, the salvitxada, similar to romesco.
